Candidate Manager, a leading global provider of e-recruitment software solutions and hiring process consulting, has signed a major €236k deal with Tesco, UK’s biggest retailer, to radically update their online hiring practices and roll out recruitment software to 2500+ stores and Tesco Customer Service call centres in the UK & Ireland.
The Candidate Manager and Tesco partnership begin in 2006, when Candidate Manager won a contract to partner with Tesco Ireland to review its Head Office recruitment practices and implement bespoke software solutions. While working with Candidate Manger, Tesco Ireland remarked on a significant increase in the quality of applications and consequently a 50% reduction in administration and time-to-hire. Additionally, Tesco also noted an enhancement of the overall applicant experience and the employee brand.
As a result, Tesco elected Candidate Manager to review its complete recruitment process in Ireland and the UK and to further integrate cutting-edge methods of recruitment into its online software; including SEO optimisation, job board and social media incorporation (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Friendfeed, YouTube and Google). The goal is to further reduce recruitments costs, decrease time-to-hire and increase quality of applications; ultimately offering a better service for Tesco customers.
