BrightMove Version 4.0 has been released into production, allowing the BrightMove ATS client base to access the new search functionality enhancements and career portal improvements, as well as several other new features.  The main feature of the 4.0 release of the BrightMove ATS is a new search functionality which allows HR Professionals and Recruiters to search for candidates stored in their BrightMove database in a new way.  This is in line with BrightMove Staffís goal to make the process of finding candidates whose resumes match a job description easier. ìNever before have recruiters been given such granular control over their search capabilitiesî says BrightMove President and Co-Founder David Webb.  ìWe have given the recruiter the best of both worlds.  We combine related concept terms that are derived from the recruiterís search string or job description, and then we give them the power to dive into the query cloud and manipulate all of the search terms. The new search capabilities within the BrightMove ATS use a technology allowing the user to search for one or more words, e.g. ìOffice Managerî.  The new search engine will not only return resumes of candidates that have those exact words listed, but also the resumes of any candidates who have synonyms, like words, or related skills listed, even if they do not have those exact search terms.  It is a more intelligent and intuitive search technology.  ìThe pilot with our existing customer base produced overwhelming results and feedbackî says Webb.  ìWe knew we had a winner when our customers gave us reports like ëAwesomeí and ëNow I can start working with companies that I could not even call on beforeí.î
This should make it easier for the HR and recruiting professionals using the Applicant Tracking System to find a greater number of ìrealî qualified candidates for job requirements.  The new search functionality also gives the recruiter the ability to add ìweightî or importance to certain search terms.  For example, if a recruiter is searching the ATS for an Administrative Professional who must have experience with MS Word, and for whom accounting experience is a plus, the recruiter may make MS Word required, while making accounting not required.  The recruiter may also use the new intelligent search tool to give more importance to one skill, and less emphasis to another.  
Aside from this re-vamped search functionality, the BrightMove Applicant Tracking System has been enhanced in several other ways.

ï	The portal used by BrightMove clients now allows an RSS feed of the jobs open at the company.
