Brand new Gradcracker launched today

Gradcracker.com, the careers website for engineering students, has today revealed its brand new look.

Gradcrackerís Senior Web Developer, Mark Beech said. ìOur customers – employers and students – are engineers and we have provided them with a site full of new features within a clean, pleasing and user-friendly format. Itís beautifully engineered and our customers will recognise and appreciate that.î

The new site has been designed to encourage more interactivity between employers, university careers advisors and students. Gradcracker is encouraging participation, through contribution and comment, from all three groups on the Blog area and a large Gallery section will feature audio and video of Gradcrackerís visits to universities across the UK.

Other new features on the site include a live stream of new jobs and work placements on the homepage and an improved search facility which has been developed in response to feedback from engineering students.

The new look comes as Gradcracker approaches its second birthday and the site is continuing to prosper despite the recession. Over 40 of the largest engineering graduate employers in the UK have already committed to advertising on Gradcracker until late 2010 and a similar number are expected to sign up during the next few days as the new term approaches.
