Virtual Business Source, an outsourced Bookkeeping, Accountancy, HR Services and BACS authorised Payroll bureau provider, has selected Bond Teamspirit – the provider of modular, yet fully integrated, HR and Payroll software – in order to reduce payroll processing for its outsourced payroll bureau by over 50% and to expand its service offering.
Bond Teamspirit has been chosen to deliver Payroll Software, complete with Auto-Enrolment functionality, and an integrated HR system in an ongoing agreement worth £60,000 which will enable Virtual Business Source to increase its business growth. The system will be implemented in October, with a full migration to Bond Teamspirit by April 2014.
Virtual Business Source’s previous Payroll software provider proved to be a barrier to the company’s growth as it could not offer the specific payroll requirements, such as teacher’s pay spines and pension schemes, which were needed to deal with Virtual Business Source’s large Academic client base. As such, Virtual Business Source spent vast amounts of time doing manual reworking in order to process its payrolls and did not have the capacity or technological capability to take on more clients.
Furthermore, the previous software system did not provide the functionality necessary to handle the imminent transition to Auto-Enrolment or offer a HR facility, resulting in problems with existing clients looking to implement auto-enrolment.
Recognising these deficiencies, Virtual Business Source began to search for an alternative Payroll software provider and was recommended the Bond Teamspirit system by a previous user.
