BlueSteps Partners with IE Business School to Offer Members Exclusive Scholarship Opportunity

Two scholarships to be awarded to BlueSteps members towards IE Executive Masters in Positive Leadership and Strategy

BlueSteps, the executive career management service of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) and IE, one of the world’s top ranked providers of executive education, have partnered to offer BlueSteps members an exclusive scholarship opportunity for the IE Master in Positive Leadership and Strategy.

The Executive Master in Positive Leadership and Strategy program is designed to help senior managers and C-level executives transform the way they lead their organizations. Recent research in psychology, neuroscience, and economics, demonstrates that individuals, teams, and organizations that incorporate positive approaches to leadership perform at a superior and more sustainable level than their peers, with employees who are more engaged and satisfied with their work, and productivity up to three times that of companies led by conventional methods.

The Master program begins in April 2013 and is comprised of five, 1-week modules which take place on the Madrid IE campus throughout 2013 and 2014.

Under the agreement, IE will provide two BlueSteps members, who apply and are accepted to IE, with scholarships of 50% off tuition fees (equivalent to 22,500€ each) towards the IE Executive Master in Positive Leadership and Strategy. Additionally, IE will waive the application fee of 120€ for all BlueSteps members applying to the program. The deadline for the scholarship application is September 14, 2012.

BlueSteps members who apply for the scholarship will be evaluated on their professional history, record of achievement and ambition to improve the state of business and organizations. The final selection of the two scholarship recipients will be announced by the end of November 2012.

“BlueSteps members include over 70,000 of the world’s leading executives. This scholarship is an incredible benefit to those BlueSteps members interested in continuing their education and developing their leadership skills” commented Glenda K. Brown, Managing Director, AESC and BlueSteps. “We fully support IE’s commitment to promoting innovation in global leadership and are excited to partner with the school through this scholarship.”

“IE’s Executive Master in Positive Leadership participants are senior managers and leaders of units, functions, or organizations – busy executives who know that investing time for training is not easy, but an important element in career growth,” said Carla Inagaki, Associate Director of IE Masters Programs. “IE offers the only comprehensive executive program centered on the proven methods of positive leadership and the science of human performance and we look forward to our BlueSteps scholarship participants.”
