BioSpace, the worldís leading life science career network and an onTargetjobs company, announced today that it will produce and manage the 2009 BIO Career Fair. This year's BIO Career Fair, powered by BioSpace, will be held on May 18, in conjunction with the 2009 BIO International Convention from May 18-21 in Atlanta. More information is at www.biocareerfair.org.

Over the past 11 years, BioSpace has produced more than 200 life science career events, making it the most prolific and successful bioscience industry career fair company in the world.

In addition to managing the event logistics, BioSpace is providing to the BIO Career Fair a proprietary online Career Network built on the BioSpace.com technology platform to enable event registrations and job applies by life science candidates. Employers may utilize the Career Network to post open employment positions, to post company profiles, and to access candidate resumes.

ìWe are pleased to team up with BioSpace for the BIO Career Fair based on their extensive level of experience and candidate and exhibitor reach,î said Margaret Core, Sales and Marketing Director of the 2009 BIO International Convention. ìWe are pleased to offer our members, exhibitors and candidates a wonderful online recruitment tool that will expand the event beyond the May 18 live event. The job postings, resume search and outreach is a great service particularly during this financial crisis, job transitions and movements.î

The BioSpace National Sales Team will be responsible for selling of the BIO Career Fair exhibit space, advertising, job postings and event sponsorships.

ìWe are pleased to be working with BIO again on its annual Career Fair that complements the 2009 BIO International Convention,î said Wes Crews, Executive Vice President and General Manager of BioSpace. ìHaving the Career Fair co-located with the 2009 BIO International Convention should make it an incredibly productive day for exhibitors and candidates.î
