Badenoch & Clark receives three-star rating for extraordinary employee engagement

Badenoch & Clark is one of only 41 organisations in the UK to have been awarded the maximum three-star rating in a new employer accreditation scheme developed by Best Companies Ltd

Badenoch & Clark is one of only 41 organisations in the UK to have been awarded the maximum three-star rating in a new employer accreditation scheme developed by Best Companies Ltd.

For years diners have been able to gage the quality of a restaurant by referring to the sought after Michelin Guide. Now thanks to workplace engagement specialists Best Companies, job seekers can refer to an accreditation list to see which companies excel in employee engagement. The accreditation is based on a star rating system where one star is first class, two stars are outstanding, and three stars are extraordinary.

Upon receiving the coveted three stars, Badenoch & Clark Managing Director Neil Wilson said: ìI am delighted with this recognition. We work hard to create an environment in which our people flourish and want to go the extra mile for their customers and us.î

Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay, who has confirmed his support for the initiative, said at the launch of the innovative accreditation scheme: ìIt is fantastic that great workplaces are now being recognised in a similar way to great restaurants. People are an organisationís greatest asset and to recognise workplace engagement in this way is really important. Gordon Ramsay Holdings are certainly going for three Best Company stars in 2007!î

Jonathan Austin, Founder and Chief Executive of Best Companies Ltd, adds: ìOur research shows that business performance and workplace engagement are inextricably linked. We believe that our accreditation system will serve to identify outstanding organisations that continually provide environments that support their most important asset, their people.î

The Best Companies three-star accreditation comes just months after Badenoch & Clark was voted 7th in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list 2006.
