Kiva.org is a not for profit organization based in San Francisco, California that uses microfinance to empower small businesses around the world. By creating a unique network of lenders and borrowers, Kiva.org has provided entrepreneurs in impoverished countries with a single access point for small loans that will help them grow their businesses.
