Angela Rosario has joined the HR.com team as the Regional Director of Client Engagement for the greater Tampa Bay area.
Debbie McGrath, CEO of HR.com says, Ms.Rosario is a great asset to the HR.com team. Her recent hire is reflective of our goal to bring HR.comís HR resources, expertise, and business best practices to the regional level so that we might better serve the community as a hub resource for businesses, associations and HR professionals.
Ms.Rosarioís first initiative to bring value to the region is the launch of an employer benchmarking and improvement program through a partnership with the Tampa Tribune and HR Tampa.
Titled the Tampa Tribune Employers of Excellence Program, the event will bring added value to both employers and employees by providing them with access to current employment information at a very specific level of detail. Specifically, the program is an Employer Improvement Program that is based on benchmark data research, education and peer-to-peer collaboration, measuring six different dimensions found to impact business performance through assessments created by recognized industry and academic professionals such as Saratoga PwC, EMERGE International, eePulse and The Bernard Hodes Group. Educational meetings will be made available to participants to help them understand and act on their assessment results. The program will conclude with a regional top employer competition; the results of which will be published in the Dec. 4, 2005 issue of the Tampa Tribune and recognized at an awards ceremony being held Dec. 8, 2005. Registration for this program remains open until Oc! t.31, 2005.
Ms.Rosario has an established history in the state of Florida and really understands the needs of the community. Her education, experience and enthusiasm will bring much to our customers in the region. She is currently the Diversity Chair for the 2005 State Council, and has held that position since 2003. She acts as a diversity resource for the 27 SHRM chapters around the state of Florida. Her current diversity presentation Graysonís Story is an interesting perspective on Diversity - looking beyond the obvious. Her contact information is on the HR Florida website; she facilitates diversity leadership workshops annually, and is available to visit your chapter. For a copy of Graysonís Story and more of her Diversity Presentations, please visit HR Floridaís Diversity Webpage.
Ms. Rosarioís 20-year career in human resources has encompassed union, non union, local and federal government and private industry workforces. She is widely known and recognized at the city and state as well as the national level of SHRM, as an activist for assimilating the disabled into the workforce.
In the community arena: after two successful years as a Committee Chair at the local level, Ms. Rosario is currently a member on the state of Florida Governors Disability Mentoring Day Committee. As the 2005 HR Florida Diversity Initiative, she is spearheading a partnership between local Florida Chapters and the DMD Community Liaisons in their areas.
