Andy Baker takes managing director role at the hotgroups online division

Andy Baker is to perform the role of Managing Director of the Online Division of recruitment specialist the hotgroup

Andy Baker is to perform the role of Managing Director of the Online Division of recruitment specialist the hotgroup.

The job will form part of his responsibilities as Trinity Mirrorís Group Director of Digital Businesses.

Further strengthening the management team, Richard Keogh has been appointed as Sales Director of the Online Division.

Andy joined Trinity Mirror at the beginning of 2006, and has been responsible for the development of GAAPweb and Secsinthecity, two of the Groupís recent online acquisitions.

Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Workthing Ltd, while it was owned by the Guardian Media Group. Workthing was acquired by the hotgroup in 2004.

Andy will lead the development of Workthing and hotonline, while retaining overall responsibility for GAAPweb and SecsintheCity.

Andy Baker will report directly to Humphrey Cobbold, Director of Strategic Development at Trinity Mirror plc.

Richard Keogh joins the hotgroup from Inside Communications, also a Trinity Mirror company, where he was instrumental in the success of the business over the last 5 years. Richard has a background in selling print and online recruitment advertising within public sector recruitment, working both with advertising agencies and recruitment consultancies.

At the hotgroup, Richard will be responsible for all sales activities in the Online Division and will report to Andy Baker.
