Rising 10 places, Aldi is ahead of all major retail competitors, such as Marks and Spencer, Tesco, Asda, Boots and the John Lewis Partnership.

For the fifth consecutive year, Aldi has been ranked within the top 25 graduate employers, achieving 22nd place in last yearís survey but has climbed the ladder this year and entered the top 15 for the very first time.

Peter Casey, Regional Managing Director for Aldi said: ìWe are delighted with this yearís ranking. Our position reflects the ongoing dedication of our enthusiastic and hard working trainers and the continual motivation of the graduates and their positive approach to the scheme. Aldiís management philosophy and delegation really are key to the businessí success. We offer graduates rewards well above the average. Our expectations may be high but so is the level of job satisfaction.î

Aldi offers a market leading package in return for a demanding area management-training programme. Its unrivalled graduate offer includes a 38, 000 starting salary, rising to 54, 500 after 3 years and an Audi A4.
