AIM Group launches job board for media careers

The Advanced Interactive Media Group, premiere consulting service to online and classified-advertising industries, today announced the launch of its new job board for media careers at AIMGroup.com/jobs

The Advanced Interactive Media Group, premiere consulting service to online and classified-advertising industries, today announced the launch of its new job board for media careers at AIMGroup.com/jobs.

Job-seekers can build or upload multiple resumes, save searches and set e-mail alerts. Employers can create and upgrade their own ads, their company profiles, add photos and videos, manage jobs and manage resumes as they have come to expect on full-featured platforms.

Employers will also have the ability to search resumes, once resumes are posted. The board can also be set to search employers' corporate sites for listings and repost them directly on AIMGroup.com/jobs.

The job board is powered by Adicio Inc. of Carlsbad, Calif., a major provider of interactive classified advertising software for media companies, on its new Pro Edition platforms for smaller media companies, which also debut today. Besides a Pro Edition careers platform, Adicio also offers similar platforms for automotive and real estate advertising.

AIMGroup.com/jobs opens its doors with more than 800 U.S. jobs specific to careers in publishing, broadcasting and Web, from ad sales to editors to Web developers. But the landing page allows seekers to access about 24,000 jobs in Adicio's U.S.-wide network. The AIM Group will aggressively develop international postings in order to provide extensive access to classified and interactive-media jobs worldwide.

It seemed a logical extension of our services, AIM Group principal and editorial director Jim Townsend said. Countless times in the past decade, we've been asked by clients and colleagues about career opportunities -- either professionals seeking or companies looking.

We had been kicking around the idea for a few years, and when Adicio told us about its upcoming new ‘pro’ platform, we jumped on board.

The site launched in beta and is expected to expand during the next few months. We'll do our part to grow this inventory in Canada and internationally, working with our clients in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, so it's not just American jobs,” Townsend said.
