Advertised annual salaries in London £15,000 higher than Devon & Cornwall

London annual advertised salaries have grown 3% whilst Devon & Cornwall have fallen by 5% according to analysis by a specialist UK jobs site

London annual advertised salaries have grown 3% whilst Devon & Cornwall have fallen by 5% according to analysis by a specialist UK jobs site.

Employment search engine AllTheTopBananas.com looked at a total 1.5Million job adverts published on their Website during January, February and March 2013 and compared them to the same three months of 2012

It revealed that jobs in the capital had an average advertised annual salary of £41,419, while the average UK advertised salary was £29,923. Devon, Suffolk and Norfolk have the lowest advertised salaries coming in at 12% below the National Average whilst the top earning counties outside London are Berkshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
