Jobpartners today announced that adidas Group is to roll out Jobpartnersí market leading e-recruitment solution, ActiveRecruiter, worldwide. ActiveRecruiter will be implemented to help adidas Group attract the best candidates worldwide and to create a global talent pool for all its existing brands (adidas Group, Reebok, TaylorMade and Rockport). The solution will be rolled out in the first quarter of next year in Germany, the US, Hong Kong, and Greater China with further countries to follow throughout 2007.
ìadidas Group is growing very rapidly which means an effective global talent management strategy is absolutely critical,î commented Steve Bonomo, Head of Recruiting at adidas Group. ìWe are implementing ActiveRecruiter to greatly speed up and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruitment process, which will in turn help to enhance our employer brand and ensure we attract, hire and retain talented people.î
ActiveRecruiter will replace the adidas Groupí former applicant management tool, which was based on SAP, and will be used globally by recruiters and line managers. Through implementing ActiveRecruiter, the adidas Group aims to improve efficiency in the global management of job applications, to develop lasting relationships with candidates via its candidate pool, and customer relationship management practices, and to increase the number of qualified candidates that apply for a position with adidas Group. The solution will also enable the adidas Groupís recruitment teams to ensure that all reporting is consistent across the globe. In addition, ActiveRecruiterís multibrand capabilities will enable adidas Group to position all the adidas Group brands in the market to attract candidates, which then can be shared throughout the group.
Expected benefits of the new solution include cost savings through reducing the number of headhunters and recruitment agencies used by adidas Group. adidas Group also anticipates a reduction in the time to hire through use of the new solution. A further benefit is the ability to comply with local employment legislations, which is absolutely essential for adidas Group as a global employer. ActiveRecruiter will play a fundamental part in helping adidas Group to do this through various features. For example, the solution provides the ability to remove date-of-birth from applications to meet local age discrimination laws such as the Age Discrimination Act in the UK, and there is also a search auditing functionality which proves that recruiters did not discriminate.
ìAfter looking at eight other vendors, we chose to work with Jobpartners as it has a proven record of successful and fast international deployments with large global organisations similar to adidas Group,î commented Steve Bonomo. ìThe company also has very strong experience of working with retail customers and offers the flexibility to cover all functional requirements.î
ActiveRecruiter, which is part of Jobpartnersí family of people relationship management solutions, provides large organisations with a single platform that supports the whole recruitment process, from the definition of a position, to candidate on-boarding, to internal mobility. ActiveRecruiter currently supports the recruitment activities for many multinational companies, such as Boots, Superdrug and Xerox. On average, Jobpartnersí customers experience around 50% savings on their recruitment costs within the first year of using the solution.
