Actonomy NV and Sovren Group announce partnership

Actonomy NV and Sovren Group have joined forces to offer a combined solution for Resume/CV parsing, matching and searching. The two leading companies now offer a combined solution which marries the industry-leading Sovren Group Resume/CVparser with the Actonomy xMP Intelligent Matching/Searching Platform. Both companies now offer the combined solution as an extension to their existing products.

The Sovren Resume Parser is the most scalable and performant solution, and is also the most comprehensive, parsing all sections as specified by the HR-XML Resume schemas (4x more data than any competitor). The Sovren Resume Parser is slated to be tri-lingual (English, French, Spanish) by Q1 2007, and to handle pan-European contact info and skills parsing as well by that date.

The Actonomy xMP platform offers a combined solution for matching and searching on both structured and unstructured data. The platform combines fuzzy matching functionality with leading edge semantic ontology matching and business process rules. Actonomy xMP understands the context of a resume or job and therefore it can qualify resumes in a much better way than traditional searching/matching solutions.
