ACI Specialty Benefits announced the acquisition of Leverage Life, a wholly owned subsidiary of O/E Learning Inc. and leading provider of concierge and work/life services to many large U.S. corporations. Dr. Ann D. Clark, founder and CEO of ACI Specialty Benefits says, Leverage Life will enhance ACI's Concierge product line and enable unprecedented growth for ACI Specialty Benefits and its customer base, more than 350 contracts nationwide.
O/E Learning hand-picked ACI Specialty Benefits to take over Leverage Life because we are confident in ACI's commitment to delivering high-quality and innovative work/life and concierge services to our current clientele, says Rick Vlasic, Chairman and CEO of O/E Learning. We've followed ACI's tremendous growth over the past 25 years, and believe that they are the perfect company to ensure a long and sustainable future for Leverage Life.
In announcing the sale, Rick Vlasic stated, O/E developed Leverage Life as a high quality employee benefit provider, with an exceptional website providing a myriad of online services. O/E is proud that ACI will now make this outstanding benefit part of their specialty benefit services. In seeking a new owner for Leverage Life, O/E was looking for a company with vision, a record of outstanding customer service, and a national reputation for excellence. We found that in ACI.
As a result of this acquisition, ACI Specialty Benefits work/life offerings will expand to include a state-of-the-art online concierge program that offers clients easy access to travel reservation services, gift purchasing, and a comprehensive entertainment discount center. Leverage Life allows ACI to expand our work/life and concierge coverage, add new technological capabilities and services to the product repertoire, and opens incredible opportunities for market growth and expansion in the specialty benefits industry, adds Dr. Clark.
Cathy Leibow, a long-time expert and innovator in the Work/Life industry and Vice President of Leverage Life, will oversee the transition of services beginning July 18, 2009. O/E is divesting itself of Leverage Life in order to invest in its core activities, which include a renewed focus on the education, healthcare, and banking industries. In addition, O/E is building upon its strategic partnership with Cisco, the technology giant.
