With its interim management revenues up by an impressive 51% overall in 2006, Archer Mathieson, the executive recruitment company, is recognised by Executive Grapevineís 2007 report as the UKís number one interim management provider outside London.
The report, released at the start of each year, has placed Archer Mathieson in the top ten ranking UK-wide for the last two years: however this is the first time Archer Mathieson has reached the number one position for companies outside London since it was founded in 1998.
Compared to many competitors who recruit across all disciplines within a particular industry sector, Archer Mathiesonís consultants are discipline specialists in the three key support functions of finance, human resources and information technology. In the human resources sector, in particular, Archer Mathieson has seen interim management revenues grow by 93% in the last year.
Ashton Ward, head of interim management at Archer Mathieson, says: ìHuman resources growth is being fuelled in part by a more educated market which appreciates the value and effectiveness of interim management.î
ìOur consultants specialise in a particular support discipline - finance, HR or IT - enabling us to develop strong relationships and an in depth understanding of our interim managers. As a result, our candidate knowledge is second to none, which ensures that we secure the most appropriate person for each assignment.î
Archer Mathieson achieves high levels of repeat business and acts as a ësounding boardí to its clients. Ward continues: ìwe are genuinely consultative and often influence our clientsí decision making. Our role is to listen, advise and then secure the best talent to deliver effective results.î
