- 54% of candidates had a very definite idea of what size of company they would like to work for.

- 31% said they were looking for a position within a large well established company.

- 14% were looking to get into a small company / start up.

- 10% wanted to work for a medium sized company.

- 45% were open on size.

Kevin Buller, Robson Taylor's CEO, said; Robson Taylor provides specialist sales recruitment services for a wide range of IT and telecoms companies from very large corporates with offices across the globe to small start ups with only a handful of staff. We regularly conduct in-depth research to help us identify trends and patterns which help us and our clients to understand the candidate market better. We have over 15,000 candidates on our database from a wide range of backgrounds and our consultants spend a great deal of time talking to each candidate to make sure that we can match them with the right opportunity.

Mr Buller added; We were surprised to find that so many candidates were open on size as we expected that most candidates would have a more definite idea about where they wanted to work, based on past experiences. However, many of these candidates that were open on size were quite specific about the technology and services that they wanted to work with.
