Social and Sustainable Capital’s (SASC) has expanded its Audit, Finance and Risk Committee (the Committee) with the appointment of Siu-Wai Ng, a Partner at BlueBay Asset Management, a specialist fixed income investment manager.

Commenting on joining SASC’s Committee Siu-Wai says, “I was keen to be involved with a venture like SASC, where investment and social impact meet – this is becoming an increasingly important focus for the investment world.

“The zeitgeist for environmental, social, and corporate governance considerations and the growing emphasis on companies to not only make a profit but to demonstrate social responsibility is a hot topic. SASC is doing excellent work and has potential to lead the way in social finance. I’m looking forward to working with the team.”

Ben Rick, Co-Founder and Managing Director of SASC said, “At a time when SASC is experiencing strong growth, we wanted to expand our Audit, Finance and Risk Committee and bring in more independent and experienced people to help steer our future growth.

“Siu-Wai is an incredibly talented leader who has overseen massive growth and transformation at BlueBay Asset Management. She has outstanding credentials and confidence managing risk and governance too, which will be immensely valuable.”

Siu-Wai also recently joined the Salvation Army as an Investment Committee Board Member and is a Trustee at National Youth Choirs of Great Britain.
