Recruitment firm aims to expand with new role

High street recruiter Field Recruitment has created a new role to help the firm expand further afield

High street recruiter Field Recruitment has created a new role to help the firm expand further afield.

The 40-yearold Swindon-based company has appointed experienced recruiter Kim Masterman to the role of Recruitment Consultant, with a brief to build on the company’s growing client base in the Bristol and Gloucestershire areas.

Kim, 35, who was brought up in Wiltshire, moved to Bournemouth after college to begin a career in recruitment.

She progressed to senior consultant, managing a team of five, before taking a career break to have her two children, later moving back to Swindon to be nearer family.

After a short time working with a financial services company, Kim joined the Field Recruitment team in Commercial Road.

“My role here will be to grow our client base, particularly in the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and Gloucester area,” said Kim. “I’ve worked in recruitment for many years and am looking forward to helping with the business development of such a great company. They are a really great team and have been very welcoming.”

Emma Ryder, Field’s Service Delivery Manager, said Kim’s role is to engage with businesses which are looking for a consultative approach to recruitment.

“Kim will be a great asset to our team, because of her experience,” said Emma. “Her role will be as a 360 degree recruiter, so not just filling roles but working closely with clients to assess their needs and to anticipate their future staffing requirements.

“Although we’re based in Swindon, our business systems are cloud-based giving us the ability to work anywhere.  We have a fast-growing client and candidate base in the Bristol and Gloucestershire areas that Kim will be able to build on.”
