Norrie Johnston Recruitment, the specialist in global executive search and interim management, has appointed Marc Harris as a new Recruitment Director.
Marc Harris has over 15 years experience in the recruitment industry, most recently with Rapid Search and Interim Ltd where he was the Associate Director specialising in Finance, Programme & Project Management and HR recruitment.
During the past 10 years Marc Harris has focused on financial recruitment working with FTSE listed and private equity companies including, Vodafone, Unilever, Centrica, Mars UK, Avis, TUi and Billabong. This experience is ideal for Norrie Johnston Recruitment which is led by Graham Oates, an ex-KPMG Managing Partner and has a strong and rapidly growing financial recruitment capability. Marc Harris’ wider track record supplying both permanent and interim senior managers, executives and directors to meet international briefs, often in Western Europe, will also prove invaluable to the firm which is increasingly being tasked with international assignments.
Graham Oates, Chief Executive at Norrie Johnston says: “Marc brings huge knowledge, networks and experience alongside a great reputation as a recruiter. His understanding of recruitment for the finance function across all sectors together with his ability to deliver against complex, senior briefs quickly will be invaluable as we continue to grow all aspects of our business. We are delighted to have him on board.”
Norrie Johnston Recruitment is focused on filling senior permanent and interim executive roles, using a mix of technology plus, importantly, traditional search, employing best of breed recruiters who have real-world business experience. It argues that this combination of technology-enabled, top recruiters together with senior executive experience means the agency can provide hand-picked short lists of perfectly matched senior interim candidates within 4 days while for permanent roles the timeframe from brief to short list can be as little as 21 days.
Marc Harris believes this service proposition is ideal: “I’m extremely impressed by the way Norrie Johnston Recruitment goes to market and I’m looking forward to being part of the company’s expansion.”
