Laurence Simons has appointed Clare Butler as their new Global Managing Director

Laurence Simons has appointed Clare Butler as their new Global Managing Director.

Clare Butler will report into Mark Carriban, Chief Executive Officer of the FiveTen Group. Clare will oversee Laurence Simons’ global operations. Laurence Simons has placed legal and compliance professionals in over forty countries in the last two years alone.

The new Global Managing Director joins having started her career 20 years ago as a Legal Advisor for the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS). Clare progressed her career with CPA Global (one of the world’s leading intellectual property (IP) management and IP software specialists) becoming Vice President in 2008, then Head of Strategy and Development in 2010.

Since 2012, Clare has worked for Article One Partners (AOP), one of the world’s largest IP research communities. Starting as their General Manager for Europe, Clare was promoted a year later to General Manager of Europe and Asia.

A fluent French speaker, Clare gained a Masters of Law (LL.M) in European Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles.

On being appointed the Global Managing Director, Clare Butler said: “I’m very excited to be joining Laurence Simons.
