CV-Library appoints Andy Summers as Chief Technology Officer

CV-Library, the UK’s leading independent job board, is pleased to announce its appointment of Andy Summers as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Andy joined the business on the 14th January, bringing with him 28 years’ experience and marking an exciting time for CV-Library.

Andy has spent a considerable period working for industry-leading businesses, including McLaren Group and Vertu. His vast experience in IT is complemented by his leadership skills, with a track record of managing global teams of more than 100 people.

In his first few weeks, Andy will be working on a thorough handover with existing IT Director, Katherine Spice, who in her six years with CV-Library successfully oversaw the growth of the IT department from just five team members to forty-five people strong.

Lee Biggins, founder and CEO of CV-Library, comments on the appointment:

“Andy was a stand-out candidate for the role as CTO. His track record speaks for itself and we are certain that his significant IT experience will help CV-Library take its technological advances to the next level. I have no doubt he will make an excellent addition to our expanding technical team.”

Andy will be spending time with all areas of the business to understand how the IT department supports the entire company. He will play a key role in achieving CV-Library's ambitious targets for technological advances in 2019 and with Andy on board, CV-Library can look forward to continuing its reputation as the fastest growing independent job board in the UK.

Andy Summers adds:

“I’m excited to get started on a new chapter of my career at CV-Library as CTO. It would have been hard to turn down this opportunity to join an outstanding brand which is really making a name for itself not only in the UK, but overseas. I’m especially looking forward to applying my skills and experience to such a dynamic and fast-growing industry, with a fantastic team behind me.”
