Cordant Recruitment Starts New Year with a Bang with Hire of Sid Barnes

Cordant Recruitment, the second-largest privately owned recruitment company in the UK, has scored a coup by hiring Sid Barnes, ex-Managing Director of IT, Telecommunications and Engineering at Adecco, to lead a new Professional Staffing division

Cordant Recruitment, the second-largest privately owned recruitment company in the UK, has scored a coup by hiring Sid Barnes, ex-Managing Director of IT, Telecommunications and Engineering at Adecco, to lead a new Professional Staffing division.

Sid has over 18 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, including 10 in senior roles at Adecco. He has a particular expertise in IT recruitment and is also a qualified personal development coach.

Professional Staffing is one of four divisions within the newly-restructured Cordant Recruitment and will focus on recruiting professionally qualified employees, ranging from High-Level Executives to IT managers. It will encompass several of Cordant’s existing specialist consultancies including Cordant Technical & Engineering, Cordant Dynamic (Microsoft stack and Analytical recruitment), Cordant Procurement (recruiting within the procurement sector), Grosvenor Boston (compliance & risk specialism)  and Grays Executive Search (a search and selection consultancy for board level and senior executives).

Sid will be looking to grow existing business, make strategic acquisitions to strengthen Cordant’s professional staffing portfolio and develop new business opportunities.
