Bright Purple Resourcing, the UK-based IT and financial services recruitment specialist, has announced the recruitment of Georgette Stewart in a newly created role of Delivery Manager. She joins the business from the Murray Capital-owned Rise Group which she joined five years ago as Finance Director, moving on to the role of Operations Director before becoming its Managing Director.
A CIMA qualified accountant, Georgette spent the first 15 years of her working career in high profile finance roles with a number of companies including Scottish pharmaceutical business Quintiles, where she served as Finance Director before becoming Operations Director, and Adobe where she was European Company Accountant. In her new role at Bright Purple, Georgette will oversee the permanent division which the firm is focused on growing, both in the UK and across global markets.
In its last financial year, Bright Purple generated seven per cent growth in its revenues which rose to £39.3m and enhanced its global presence launching a new operation in Lithuania. With a significantly high proportion of its income generated from contract recruiting, the Bright Purple board, led by CEO Nick Price, is keen to focus on enhancing its permanent recruitment activity.
