Recruitment teams handle a constant flow of files. CVs arrive as scan001.pdf or Resume (3).docx, contracts and timesheets come back from clients under whatever name the sender chose, and invoices and compliance documents pile up in shared folders. Finding the right one later takes longer than it should.
Renamer.ai is software that renames files based on what is inside them. It looks at the content of a PDF, photo, document, spreadsheet, presentation or email and gives the file a clear name. The aim is one consistent format across a whole batch of candidate documents, for example Name_Role_Date.
It works with more than 30 file types, including PDF, DOC and DOCX, XLS and XLSX, CSV, PPT and PPTX, JPG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, EML and MSG. You can use the desktop app for Windows and macOS or the web interface.
A free Starter plan covers 25 files a month. Paid plans are Pro at $9.95 a month, Power User at $29.95 a month and Ultimate at $99.95 a month. More than 6,100 people use Renamer.ai. The product was founded in 2024 and is operated by FUTURISTICA d.o.o. in Maribor, Slovenia.
