Norman Broadbent has bought HR software from Snowdrop, to centralise the information of its 80 employees and improve the quality of employee data

Norman Broadbent, the worldwide executive search company, has bought HR software from Snowdrop, to centralise the information of its 80 employees and improve the quality of employee data.

Norman Broadbent will be implementing Snowdrop's Evergreen software for personnel records management. Based in London, the company is the flagship brand of the BNB Group of companies. Previously Norman Broadbent used a system that lacked the flexibility it required to accommodate the scope of its HR function. The HR team therefore decided to procure a new solution that would enable it to centralise employee data, streamline processes and improve management information. In addition, the company wanted to focus on core business activities that administration was taking resources away from.

Currently HR data is spread amongst the old software system and various paper files. By installing Snowdrop, HR will create a single source of information that will increase the integrity and consistency of employee data. Snowdrop Reports, on areas such as absence and turnover, will enable the production of more meaningful information that can be used as the basis for more informed business decisions. The company also anticipates significant time-savings as the result of automating a wide range of everyday HR processes.

The roll-out of Snowdrop's Windows personnel system is regarded as the first step in a long-term project to improve HR processes. Future plans include, acquiring Snowdrop's U-Access module, to provide online access to line managers and eventually employees, as the company grows internationally.
