Recruitment Firm, STR, To Double in Size Within Year

STR Technology, has today announced its plans to double in size within the next year. The news coincides with the recruitment of sector head, Alan Albury, who has been employed to set up a new specialist SAP division at the company.

ìThe current IT market is particularly buoyant and predictions suggest this is likely to continue for at least the next two years,î confirms Steve Saunders, director, STR Technology. ìHowever, I believe our expansion would continue even in a less buoyant market due to the excellent service we offer to our clients ñ at least that is what they are telling us. In the past 12 months we have expanded from five to 11 staff in our Guildford office and we now plan to increase this rate of growth, partly through the creation of our new SAP team.î

Alan Albury has eight yearsí of SAP recruitment experience. With previous senior roles including time spent at SAP Systems Integrator, Diagonal, Albury is: ìideally placed to lead our next phase of expansion,î continues Saunders. ìOne of his first tasks will be to enlarge the SAP team ñ particularly through the employment of local graduates which will be trained in our dedicated training academy.î

STR runs intensive, full-time, six week training courses for new industry personnel which has been described as: ëthe most comprehensive staff training available within the recruitment industryí. ìThis training will be key in supplying the fully skilled staff required to accommodate our ambitious expansion plans,î confirms Saunders.

Through both its Guildford and Portsmouth offices STR specialises in permanent and contract recruitment for IT, sales, engineering and health sector. STR is one of the largest consultancies in the area , currently with 100 staff, and provides a cost-effective service for consistent and targeted recruitment.
