In a first for the engineering recruitment industry, EPCglobal aims to bolster the number of job applications made to it by extending referral payments beyond its own employees.
The 5,000 payment is triggered if a referred candidate is employed and stays for 6 months at the engineering staffing specialist. The scheme will be open for three months to referrers anywhere in the world, with a target of recruiting twenty new members of staff.
EPCglobal is seeking exceptional candidates with varying levels of experience, particularly in technical fields, who display drive and a dedication to client service. It offers career-minded individuals the best tools and support to succeed in delivering the next generation of resourcing solutions in a friendly and professional working environment. Aside from the financial rewards, there is also the real prospect of transfers to other regions of the global business.
Richard Spragg, communications manager at EPCglobal, said: ìEveryone says talent is their most important asset. We genuinely believe it and weíre prepared to put our money where our mouth is because weíre at a crucial phase in our growth. The surge in demand for engineers caused by the global skills shortage means that recruitment consultants have never been more key to our industryís productivity. We need to increase our numbers to reflect that demand.î
