Ellis Fairbank celebrates International success

Ellis Fairbank is set to further expand its international division with the opening of its second and third offices abroad

Ellis Fairbank is set to further expand its international division with the opening of its second and third offices abroad, as well as two new offices in the UK, plus a number of additional global offices planned for announcement in coming months.

Having established its international capabilities more than five years ago and as a result of client demand, Ellis Fairbank opened its first overseas office in Strasbourg less than 12 months ago. With the international division having reported year on year growth of 143 per cent, Ellis Fairbank established a European foothold to develop its strategy for fulfilling the requirements for continental based personnel, on behalf of both UK and overseas located clients.

The new overseas offices will be based in Paris and Frankfurt, with the locations selected as a result of increased client demand, as well as recognition of the potential to further the business in prominent markets within these specific regions. Three more international locations have been earmarked, with offices set to launch in both Europe and further a field including Australia, over the coming few months. As well as the expansion of the international office network, Ellis Fairbank have also strengthened its UK presence by opening offices in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, to service primarily the buoyant oil and gas market, with plans to further extend their Scottish presence to Glasgow by the end of year.

There are currently almost 40 consultants working on an international scale and, with an established platform for growth now firmly in place, staff numbers are forecasted to increase by 25 per cent in the next six months, as a direct result of client demand. Ellis Fairbankís international division currently boasts clients such as Novartis, Coca-Cola, Firestone Industrial Products Inc, Masterfoods, Johnson Controls and Tom Tom.

From its international operations, Ellis Fairbank will work with both UK based clients who are looking to fill positions overseas, as well as with an extensive global client and candidate base across multiple market sectors. By employing specialist multilingual consultants with specific industry sector knowledge, cultural expertise and a focus upon the market in a particular continent, Ellis Fairbank will be able to offer holistic recruitment and HR solutions to a clientís international recruitment needs.

Mike Yew, who heads up the international division, comments: ìThe international dimension to our business truly sets us apart in the recruitment industry. We are able to offer an integrated service proposition and specialist market expertise across six continents worldwide, whilst applying a unique methodology and approach which has been directly developed to ensure our clients are able to quantify the return on investment and quality of their hireî.

Mike concludes: ìThe international division continues to go from strength to strength and represents a major growth area for the business in the future. Combining our successful track record and growth to date and the benefit that such an established and specialist team of consultants bring, together with the extensive experience we have gained through successfully working across more than 35 countries worldwide, we currently occupy a strong position to continue to offer an unrivalled service proposition on a global scale.î
