Awards success for Aston Taylor

Celebrations are in full swing at Aston Taylor after the company picked up two awards at the 2007 Hertfordshire Recruitment Awards. Fighting off competition from some of the biggest names in the industry, the St Albans-based agency triumphed in both the Recruitment Company and Recruitment Consultant of the Year categories.

The ceremony itself was a glamorous evening that took place at a luxury hotel in leafy Hertfordshire countryside, and was judged by a panel of industry experts including senior representatives of the REC. Spitting Image's Steve Nallon hosted the event, handing over the Recruitment Company of the Year award to Aston Taylor and The Consultant of the Year award to Annika Eade.

Sales Manager Michael Bowden summed up the feelings of the company perfectly: We're absolutely delighted. We feel this is not so much a victory for the company but for the whole team. Without the efforts of everyone at Aston Taylor we never could have achieved this.

Consultant of the Year Annika Eade was equally thrilled. We had absolutely no idea of the winners in advance so it was a complete surprise to hear my name called out. It's brilliant news.
