Atlanta Risk Assessment Company to Screen Contractors / Vendors for Canadian Railroad

Atlanta-based e-VERIFILE.COM Inc, is pleased to announce that the U.S. Operations of Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) has joined e-RAILSAFE --an industry-wide safety and security initiative that facilitates safety orientation, background screening, credentialing and tracking of railroad contractors and their employees.

As part of its entry into e-RAILSAFE, CP will now require all of its contractors/vendors and their employees who physically operate on their U.S. based properties, to comply with the program which primarily focuses on Service Providers who have:

- access to critical infrastructure
- access to sensitive information
- access to company employees
- access to hazardous materials

CP is the 6th major railroad to join the e-RAILSAFE program.

e-VERIFILE.COM Inc. developed the e-RAILSAFE program in 2005, after it was selected by several U.S. and Canadian Class 1 Railroads to help augment safety and security at railroad facilities. Class I railroads are designated as the largest freight railroads, as classified by operating revenue.
