Arbita and Jobs4.0 Announce a Job Posting and Media Solutions Affiliation

Arbita and Jobs4.0 Unite to Provide Employers Direct Access to Workers Over 40 as the Younger Workforce Declines

Arbita, the leading provider of global job advertising distribution solutions, and Jobs4.0, a rapidly growing job board devoted to workers over 40 years old, are pleased to announce a new job posting and media solutions relationship.

With the labor pool of younger workers on the decline, Arbita and Jobs4.0 unite to provide Arbitaís clients direct access to a growing labor pool of experienced, energetic workers over 40. The median age of the workforce population has been rising since 1962, and 2010 will mark the first time in nearly a half century that the median workforce age will be over 40.

ìBy 2010, more than 51 percent of the workforce is expected to be 40 or older, a 33 percent increase since 1980, according to statistics in the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Monthly Labor Review [PDF 149 KB].

Our alliance with Arbita will create an exciting new vehicle for prominent employers to reach skilled, energetic job seekers, said Jobs4.0 founder Steven J. Greenberg. Together we've created packages that go far beyond job postings ñ Arbita clients can choose to have their jobs included in Jobs4.0 newsletters to nearly 20,000 registered users, be designated on our home page as a Best Employer for Age Diversity, get access to our private resume database, launch Jobs4.0 mini-career fairs and more. And every package will be discounted for Arbita clients.

ìMultigenerational Recruiting is vital to reaching the entire workforce and achieving a bias-free workplace,î said Doug Ries, Executive Vice President of Arbita.net. ìPartnering with Jobs4.0 will add value for our clients by enabling them to target seasoned candidates who bring experience, skills and wisdom to their organizations,î Ries concluded.
