eFinancialCareers launches live interactive chat

Global CIO of Dresdner Kleinwort first industry leader as guest

eFinancialcareers.com today announces the launch of its latest interactive initiative to build a closer online community in the financial industry, Live Chat. Live chat is an industry first and allows professionals and jobseekers in the finance sector to talk with senior leaders online so that they can learn how to get on in the sector.

Focusing on the technology sector within banking, eFinancialCareers has invited Pascal Emile to be the first Guest in its Live Chat series. Emile is Global CIO of Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank, and will be live via internet on Thursday 21st June at 4.30pm. To talk with Pascal, IT professionals will simply need to log on at http://chat.efinancialcareers.co.uk to participate. They can also sign up to the chat and post their questions in advance, giving them a better chance of having their query voiced on the day of the event.

A first in the finance recruitment sector, the live chat sessions form part of the eFinancialCareers.com strategy of building an online community where peers can exchange valuable information on ëhow to make ití in the financial sector. Recently, the job board launched new functionality allowing its audience to take part in polls and comment on news articles and interviews. This latest move will now enable professionals to participate in live and interactive Q&A sessions with leading industry experts.

These events are aimed at eliminating the barriers between industry leaders and technologists looking to enter the financial job marketplace or plan their next career moves. Each event offers the participant an informal way to find out the answers to burning questions concerning career paths, skills, technologies and trends that often go unanswered.

Sam Cowen, Senior Marketing Manager EMEA at eFinancialcareers.com, commented:
