right4staff has launched a number of new initiatives designed to attract and retain staff and ultimately drive the business forward. These initiatives centre on career paths and development plans and have been created as a result of the feedback received from this yearís employee survey.

Speaking at the Groupís Annual Conference Jess Watts, CEO of the right4staff group, said: ì This industry is still characterised by an unacceptably high level of staff turnover and, whilst we at right4staff have a better record than most, I am committed to continuing to address this issue as I believe it is vital for our success. As part of this we will invest in our people in terms of training and development which will I believe generate a high level of loyalty and a better customer offering.î

Initiatives announced include: a comprehensive branch manager training programme involving a four day residential course; the creation of the right4staff academy ñ a management development programme which recognises and trains top performers over a period of twelve months; a mentoring and buddy scheme and the option of more flexible working solutions.î

In addition all employees will be given the opportunity to have a visible and structured career path with individual training and development programmes. The role of senior consultant will also be introduced into the business.

ìI believe that there is only one thing that can materially affect the success or failure of a business ñ and that it is the people in it. My team and I intend to create the right working environment, backed by the right resources and training to ensure that our people can achieve their goals. My mission is to make right4staff an ëEmployer of Choiceí, î concludes Jess.
