Robert Half International scores high marks from employees

Robert Half International is leading the way on developing a quality employer brand

Robert Half International is leading the way on developing a quality employer brand. Results from their 2006 Employees Survey have shown increases across the board in employee job satisfaction.

The overall workforce engagement score of 4.09 for Australia and New Zealand was a significant increase from the score of 3.86 recorded in the last survey, conducted in 2004, with impressive gains across all key areas.

Results were grouped into three categories ñ green (4-5 points), yellow (3-3.99 points), and red (0-2.99 points) - with the survey designed to measure and celebrate progress, identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans.

The two highest rated areas continued to be Interpersonal Climate, which scored 4.26, and Culture, which scored 4.25, highlighting Robert Half Internationalís status as a highly valued, happy and co-operative work place. Both categories showed impressive improvement over their respective 2004 scores of 4 and 4.06. Should we also include improvement on 2000 scores?

ìRHI is very proud of the progress we have achieved since our last employee survey,î said Nigel Barcham, Managing Director Robert Half International ANZ. ìThe results reinforce our ongoing commitment toward high employee satisfaction levels, work environment initiatives and becoming the industryís employer of choice.î

Other strong results were found in the areas of Interpersonal Style of Management (4.21, up from 3.89 in 2004), and Recognition (4.17, up from 3.95).

Improvement was also seen in Performance Management (4.07, up from 3.92), Work Support (3.88, up from 3.68), Employee-Management Communication (3.87, up from 3.77) and Cross-Functional/Cross Divisional Collaboration (3.67, up from 3.59).

Internationally, the 2006 survey showed a 35.31% increase in levels of job satisfaction at RHI since 2000.
