Jobpartners hosts user group in the UK

Opportunity to Hear the Latest in Best Practice for People Relationship Management

Jobpartners, today announced that its next UK User Group will take place in London on 28 February 2007 in Piccadilly, London. The User Group will be an opportunity for Jobpartnersí customers to share best practice in people relationship management and to get a sneak preview of the companyís latest solutions. There will also be informative presentations from Jobpartnersí key customers and partners.

As well as customers and partners, external experts, The Security Watchdog, will be discussing the importance of pre-employment screening and vetting during the hiring process, as Steve OíNeil, director of the company explains:

Full integration with talent acquisition and management platforms is vital as e-recruitment becomes a must have for most medium to large businesses. Pre-employment screening and vetting is now a recognised and important phase of the recruitment process. We at The Security Watchdog feel that by integrating technology similar to that provided by Jobpartners, we will provide our mutual clients with further reductions in hiring time, cost, administration and value add in terms of proposition.

The User Group will also provide the opportunity to hear Peter Gold from Hire Strategies, one of Jobpartnersí key partners, discussing the challenges that 2007 will bring in attracting talent.

The growing competition for talent will show no signs of slowing down in 2007 but e-recruitment solutions can provide progressive organisations with great competitive advantage, commented Peter Gold, managing director at Hire Strategies. Online recruitment solutions have revolutionised the way candidates seek new job opportunities, as well as greatly enhancing employersí one-on-one relationships with candidates. As finding great talent has become a board level issue, engaging with applicants online becomes more and more critical, with online recruitment having to move from being a ítransactionalí to a íconversationalí interaction. The question for HR and recruitment professionals in 2007 will be not whether they have an e-recruitment strategy but how quickly and how well can they execute it.

The importance of assessment as part of an integrated talent management solution will be the topic of discussion from Teresa Fearis, international business development director at SHL, a provider of psychometric assessment solutions and a Jobpartners partner.

Understanding how to develop and keep their talent is a challenge facing most professional organisations, explained Teresa Fearis. SHL has long recognised the importance of personal and organisational performance management working through assessment. Primarily assessment of íwhat talent looks likeí in relation to a particular organisationís need, followed by the assessment of individuals in order to recognise potential and shape development. SHL enables clients to apply informed assessment, and I look forward to discussing these ideas.

As well as client presentations and previews of new solutions, there will also be a question and answer session. The day will end with a drinks reception and the opportunity to network. For more information on the User Group, please email: event@jobpartners.com
