Nurse Bank Australia not a member of industryís peak body

The Australian Association of Nursing Recruitment Agencies (AANRA) is disappointed to learn that the agency Nurse Bank Australia is under investigation for allegedly breaching the regulations governing visa sub-class 442

The Australian Association of Nursing Recruitment Agencies (AANRA) is disappointed to learn that the agency Nurse Bank Australia is under investigation for allegedly breaching the regulations governing visa sub-class 442. However, AANRA would like to confirm that Nurse Bank is not a member of the RCSA (Recruitment and Consulting Services Association) nor its Member group AANRA.

Members of the RCSA and AANRA are bound by the RCSAís Code for Professional Practice. Behaviour such as that alleged against Nurse Bank is absolutely unacceptable to both AANRA and the RCSA. If any Member were to breach this code, it would face strong disciplinary action.

This case highlights the importance, for both employers and candidates, of choosing to deal only with recruitment or on-hire agencies who are Members of the industryís peak national body. The rules governing Membership of the RCSA and AANRA demand that Members act in an ethical, accountable way, and are subject to disciplinary action if they do not meet the Associationís high standards.
