Richard founded PSL in 1989. He has been closely involved in the design and development of a broad range of innovative psychometric assessment tools. In recent years an area of particular interest has been online assessment technologies, an area where PSL is a market leader.
Richard is a frequent industry commentator and has contributed to radio and television programmes on testing and assessment as well as most of the national newspapers and the human resources trade press. He has spoken at conferences throughout the world and is one of the guest experts on a series of training videos.
In recognition of his work within the industry, Richard was chosen by Personnel Today as one of HRís 21 Rising Stars in the UK.
Under Richardís guidance PSL is now one of the largest publishers of psychometric tests in the UK and also has a strong consultancy practice.
In addition to his role at PSL, Richard is also on the board of directors of the Business Test Publishers Association (BTPA) - the UK trade body for test publishers.
