Authoria to Sponsor Human Capital Institute’s High Performance Organization Initiatives

Authoria will sponsor HCI’s High Performance Organization education and research track

The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and Authoria, the leader in integrated talent management solutions, announced today that Authoria will sponsor HCI’s High Performance Organization education and research track. The track is one of several topics addressed in HCI’s Talent Strategy community of interest, a community HCI considers critical to organizations working to leverage human capital.

The High Performance Organization track recognizes that high potential, dedicated employees drive successful organizations. An organization’s ability to manage its workforce strategically and develop the capabilities of its employees sets it apart from its competitors. In today’s idea economy, high performing organizations are also characterized by their ability to successfully integrate individual human capital disciplines into an effective talent management process.

Organizations that take an integrated approach to attracting, acquiring, training, developing, deploying, and retaining their high potential employees vastly increase their chances of being industry leaders, said Allan Schweyer, HCI’s President and Executive Director. Best performing organizations understand the importance of closely aligning workforce and strategic direction, and they have systems in place to support this across every level of the enterprise.

This track will examine best approaches to integrating each of the aspects of talent management into a whole that is much greater than the sum of its parts. A panel of expert advisors explores these practices, sharing information with human capital professionals through Webcasts, white papers, education, and other resources.

High potential talent, when properly engaged, creates the highest shareholder value. Today, forward-thinking organizations are taking an integrated approach to talent management and making it an essential part of their corporate planning, competitive differentiation, and operational execution. The integration of talent management functions is essential to creating a high performance organization, said Nina McIntyre, Authoria’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. We are pleased to be working with HCI to help define the research agenda and advance industry understanding of this important area.
