Groupe Caisse díEpargne choose StepStoneís i-GRasp for e-recruitment

The selection of StepStone i-GRasp by Groupe Caisse díEpargne further re-enforces StepStoneís dominance as the key provider of e-recruitment solutions for the European financial services sector

One of the largest banking institutions in France, Groupe Caisse díEpargne, has chosen StepStoneís i-GRasp to help it create a new online recruitment portal, increasing collaboration amongst Human Resource (HR) staff and streamlining the candidate information management process.

Employing 55,000 staff globally, Groupe Caisse díEpargne is one of the largest universal banks in France, with a substantial share of French retail banking market. The Groupís 4,700-strong branch network serves 26 million clients. Groupe Caisse d’Epargne also has Franceís second most widely visited banking website, which records 2.3 million hits per month.

Annually the 150-strong Groupe Caisse díEpargne HR team process 100,000 job applications for, on average, 4,000 job opportunities. To accelerate the entire selection process and support the launch of a new employer branding campaign, Groupe Caisse díEpargne turned to StepStoneís i-GRasp for assistance.

Integrating each part of the recruitment process from job posting, through to candidate application, screening and selection, and linking this with backend HR systems, i-GRasp provides Groupe Caisse díEpargne with a new careers website and candidate database combined into one secure, online portal. Where once HR managers used a number of different tools to publicise an open position and then manage applications, i-GRasp now allows all job and candidate information to be centralised and shared effectively.

Our decision was not only based on StepStoneís strong expertise and its knowledge of the banking sector, but also on the quality and performance of its e-recruitment solution, i-GRasp,î comments Frdric Dubois, HRMS project director of Groupe Caisse díEpargne. i-GRasp enables us to more effectively manage a huge amount of applications and reduce the time to hire, perfectly meeting our needs.

Groupe Caisse díEpargne is currently implementing a number of other modules from i-GRasp and this is a significant indicator of the benefit that e-recruitment is delivering to this banking group, according to Colin Tenwick, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of StepStone: ìThis project illustrates our ability to respond to the specific needs of a client very quickly as well as the efficiency and collaboration benefits that e-recruitment solutions can deliver. The addition of Groupe Caisse díEpargne to our existing customer portfolio of leading European financial service institutions further underlines our strength in this competitive and demanding sector.î

StepStone has more than 460 customers across 14 countries and its e-recruitment offerings are produced in 10 languages. Other financial services sector customers include the European Central Bank, Deutsche Bank, Atradius, Abbey, Royal Bank of Scotland, HSH Nordbank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
