John Zappe, former Vice President of new media for the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, serves as recruitment analyst for Classified Intelligence Report and is a principal of Classified Intelligence, the classified-advertising consultancy. While he was at the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, he grew revenue 13-fold and developed 40 percent margins at a unit that had been losing money. Previously, he was director of new media for the Riverside Press-Enterprise. He is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law.
