TFPL is further expanding its interim and contract recruitment capability Through the appointment of several new people including Lynley Barker, a highly experienced information professional, as Candidate Relationship Manager.

ìMany of our clients, particularly in the public sector, are striving to implement all sorts of information related projects and initiatives to meet corporate objectives but without increasing permanent headcountî says Nigel Oxbrow, TFPLís founder and managing Director. ìThey are looking for interim managers and contract staff with a mix of information, technical and business skills and experience ñ but people with these skills and appropriate personal attributes are in short supply. Whilst we continue to work hard to attract new talent into our pool of candidates through advertising and referrals we are also now focusing additional effort and resource into working with existing candidates to increase their skills and capabilities.

We see this as a key strategic move that will enable us to further increase the value we can deliver to our clients. We are delighted to have attracted Lynley Barker into this new role of Candidate Relationship Manager. Her extensive information management experience will enable her to relate well to both clients and candidates and to understand their professional issues.î

In her new role, Lynley is working closely with TFPLís candidates to help them understand the opportunities, identify skills gaps and develop training plans. She is utilising TFPLís extensive programme of training courses and their coaching and development capability to help those candidates achieve their goals. Lynley is also working closely with clients and candidates to make sure that their assignments and projects are running smoothly and delivering the right results.

Lynley has over ten years experience in information management - most recently leading many integration projects for two law firms that merged. In her new role at TFPL she is building a team around her to support her work focussing on candidate development and is working closely with all the recruitment and training teams.

Luisa Jefford, who has been with TFPL for twelve years, has recently been appointed a Director and promoted to a new role responsible for developing the companyís interim management services. Keri Gray has been promoted to lead the Contract recruitment team and is working with her team to extend their capability and to further expand their market.
