100% pass mark for Select Education

Specialist education recruiter, Select Education plc, has been re-awarded the Quality Mark standard, receiving top marks for 100% accuracy in recruitment, selection and vetting processes for teaching and education support staff. The Quality Mark, a joint DfES/REC initiative recognises education recruitment consultancies that operate to best practice standards in providing and managing supply teaching and support staff.



In confirming the award, the RECís professional standards assessor congratulated Select Education on quality of its operation and its continued compliance with Quality Mark standards. It also confirmed the organisationís achievement of 100% accuracy in its key processes.

To achieve the Quality Mark, Select Education submitted detailed evidence to show how it meets the required standards by means of a policy document, internal processes and procedures and documentation to support of these processes. The REC then carried out a rigorous inspection at a random selection of Select Education offices to verify that the written evidence provided was borne out in practice on a routine basis throughout the business, which is the UKís largest education recruitment consultancy.
