Scottish recruitment agency, Search Consultancy, has just opened a new, state of the art, response handling centre in Dunfermline.
The 30-seater, hi-tech contact centre will allow Search to manage a wide range of projects from all over the UK, on behalf of clients who opt not to receive advertising responses direct.
Grahame Caswell, Searchís Chief Executive says, ìThe new contact centre provides a flexible resource for businesses across the UK; especially those who may be recruiting high numbers of staff, but donít have the resources to handle volume responses.
ìThe biggest challenge for many employers requiring volumes of staff is simply dealing with the number of applications which can swamp their in-house teams. But everything is relative and we wonít only be dealing with large projects. Smaller companies with limited in-house HR resources very often donít have the capacity to deal with the volumes of calls and letters they could potentially receive during a recruitment campaign.
ìBy using our response handling centre, clients can sit back and allow Search to take care of as much or as little of the recruitment process as they want.î
The new contact centre, which is based on Dunfermlineís High Street, is good news for the local jobs market too as it will create up to 30 new positions.
Andrew Goodwin, who has recently joined Search as the contact centre manager in Dunfermline has built his own career in the contact centre environment. He says he is excited at the huge scope of the new facility and the resources on offer:
ìOur state of the art contact centre, with advanced communication technology allows the team to cover everything from handling advert responses and screening candidates to carrying out telephone interviews and booking assessment centres.
ìIn some cases, we even gain access to clientsí internal communication systems, which means we are also able to handle any online applications as well.î
Searchís new contact centre will operate with a brand new, state of the art telephony system, allowing call handlers to give candidates the best possible service when calling in with enquiries, or when undergoing a full competency based interview.
Grahame Caswell adds, ìThe new contact centre will offer added value to our clients. It is capable of becoming a temporary satellite operation for an in-house HR department, which means HR personnel do not have to take their eyes away from their daily workload in order to undertake a one-off recruitment campaign.î
