Unitime Systems new benefits manager automatically tracks employee paid-time-off benefits

Unitime Systems, Inc, has launched a new feature for its Unitime Automated Timekeeping System

Unitime Systems, Inc, has launched a new feature for its Unitime Automated Timekeeping System that automatically calculates and tracks employee paid-time-off benefits as part of the companyís daily time and attendance tracking. Benefits Managerô tracks vacation, sick leave, personal time and other benefit-hour accruals within the day-to-day workflow of time and attendance, thus ensuring accuracy and allowing administrators to devote time to more productive tasks.

Because Benefits Manager is fully integrated within the latest version of Unitime, companies can avoid the extra step of importing benefit-hour accruals from separate payroll or human resources programs. They thus avoid ìsilosî or ìislandsî of data that must be separately managed and periodically synchronized.

Fully Customizable:
Companies can customize Benefits Manager to accommodate their unique benefits policies according to types of benefits, employee classifications, time periods and other variables. Benefits Manager will track an unlimited number of benefit types (beyond the standard vacation, paid time off, sick leave, etc.); each benefit type can accommodate separate policies for individual classifications of employees (i.e., full- or part-time). Each policy also can be customized for multiple periods or time frames.

ìCalculating and tracking employeesí paid-time-off benefits typically is a complicated and time-consuming endeavor,î said Doug Peterman, Unitime Systems president. ìBenefits Manager dramatically reduces the time that administrators must spend on that processóin essence, giving them additional hours each month that they can devote to more important tasks.î
