William, the black Labrador, will be walking across the Pennines to raise funds for a new Children's Hospice in South London

William, the black Labrador, will be walking across the Pennines to raise funds for a new Children's Hospice in South London.

He will be leading a team of hikers from Chase Zander, the Greenwich-based Search and Selection organisation. They aim to cover 50kms over two days.

Adam Tallamy, Chase Zander Director, said:
William is already a great hit with the Demelza children and we hope he will inspire us to succeed in raising 5,000 for the charity.

William, the Chase Zander mascot has his own web page and sponsoring him is very easy. Just click on to www.justgiving.com/williamchasezander to pledge your support.

Commercial sponsorship means so much to Demelza. We're all proud of William and what he is doing to help the team in their mission to raise money for the appeal, said Natalie Evans, Demelza.
