Web-based Risk Assessment Company to Provide Personnel Screening Services for Mass Transit Agency

e-VERIFILE.COM Inc-a provider of web-based risk assessment solutions, is pleased to announce that it has signed Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo) as its newest client. Effective immediately, e-VERIFLE.COM will provide solutions and support that will enable IndyGo to conduct routine background investigations on all of its incoming applicants for employment. The investigations will focus on verifying employment histories, credit reports and potential criminal records for anyone seeking to work for the mass transit agency.

IndyGo is the largest public transportation system in the State of Indiana. The system employs 450 people, operates more than 200 vehicles over 9 million miles annually and serves over 9 million people.

The system marks the first organization signed by e-VERIFILE.COM as part of its new initiative to serve the Mass Transit industry. A member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), e-VERIFILE.COM Inc. has an extensive track record of service to the transportation industry having served some of the nation's largest transportation logistics and trucking companies.

In 2005 the company was selected by several U.S. and Canadian Class 1 railroads to develop e-RAILSAFE--an industry wide security and safety initiative that facilitates safety orientation, background screening, credentialing and tracking of railroad contractors and their employees. e-VERIFILE.COM is launching a similar initiative for other industries like mass transit that are seeking to enhance their Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) efforts.
