Watch out for the Cat! The recruitment business is coming to Manchester

The Recruitment Business (TRB), UK recruitment consultancy dedicated to the creative sector, has opened an office in Manchester

The Recruitment Business (TRB), UK recruitment consultancy dedicated to the creative sector, has opened an office in Manchester. The new office signals yet another stage in TRBís national and international expansion plans.

Through its three divisions, Mac People, Creative People and Web People, TRB specialises in placing temporary and permanent graphic and web designers, copywriters, typographers, artworkers, mac operators, studio managers and print buyers. The new office will be based in Manchester but the teamís remit will cover the entire North of England.

To launch the new office, TRB is running a creative new advertising campaign in the business and local press. The TRB advert has real ëstand-outí appeal because of its surreal image of a cat (TRBís new mascot!) supping a pint of bitter. The creatives at TRB have developed this image to communicate that TRB intends to make a strong impact on the creative industries in the North as well as to bring together a team that boasts extensive knowledge of the local market place, its companies and its candidates.

Justin Moore will be TRB Manchesterís Recruitment Manager. Justin has over 10 yearsí experience in the creative industries in Manchester in both the design and the recruitment sectors. All the other members of the TRB Manchester will be locals too, combining expertise in the creative sectors with vital local knowledge and connections.

Bernie Sturley, Managing Director of TRB UK, commented, ìWe have long wanted to open an office in Manchester, which is now one of the most dynamic creative markets in Europe. All the feedback that we have received so far has indicated that there is a real opportunity for a new creative recruitment presence in this market place. We are delighted to be opening up the new office with such a fantastic team and I know that clients and candidates alike will be more than a little intrigued by the cat.î

She continued, ìIn fact, I will give a bottle of champagne to the person who comes up with the most creative name for our new mascot. All they need to do is to email their suggestions to bernie@macpeople.co.uk and we can then make it official!î
