Tickets are selling out fast for the second annual Franchise Marketing Awards, following a successful inaugural event in 2006.

Winners of the prestigious Awards will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner on 23 March 2007 at the Marriott London Hotel, on the first night of The British and International Franchise Exhibition. Over 300 leading figures in the franchise industry are expected to attend making this the industry networking event of the year.

The glamorous awards evening will be hosted by entertaining comedian Lee Hurst, best known to television viewers as the quirky and quick-witted panellist on BBC1ís popular sporting quiz, They Think Itís All Over.

The Franchise Marketing Awards recognise the industryís most innovative and effective marketing campaigns for products, services and franchisee recruitment.

They attract many British franchise companies, both large and small, from a wide variety of sectors. Judged by an independent panel of experts, The Franchise Marketing Awards recognise and reward companies, which have raised their public awareness and, as a result, achieved sustainable growth.

David Tuck, Franchise Sales Manager for Venture Marketing Group, organisers of the Franchise Marketing Awards commented: Now in its second year, The Franchise Marketing Awards have proven to be a popular and innovative initiative giving credit to the huge amount of hard work and creativity which goes into marketing franchise companies. These awards form an integral part of recognising, nurturing and inspiring talent as well as recognising remarkable achievements in this industry.
